A simple 2HP clock divider that outputs the original clock at divisions of 2.
Inputting a clock signal into the ECD of between 2.5V – 10V and up to 10KHz will output clock signals at divisions of 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 1/64 and 1/128 by default.
Output signals are 6.2V.
Jumpers on the board allow changing the 1/32 output to 1/64 and the 1/128 output to 1/256.
Inputting an up-edge/gate/trigger at the RESET jack simply resets the output clocks to start again from the first pulse. Required reset pulse is 2.5V – 10V at up to 10Khz.
A header on the board allows the user to connect the reset signal from the button of an adjacent OCD unit to reset the ECD. There are also headers on the board that allow for normalizing the RESET and CLOCK IN jacks of adjacent clock dividers (be they ECD or OCD). Connection requires 2-pin 2.54mm pitch female-female Dupont-style jumper cables. (One included with each unit).
